Last week we posted on Instagram about B Corp Month, showing the brands we have been supporting. March is B Corp Month in the US and we are being encouraged to “VoteEveryDay by opting to buy from B Corp organisations. These organisations are those who are conscious of their impact on the world, both socially and environmentally and hold themselves to high standards on both counts.
Women’s History Month
March is Women’s History Month and something to be celebrated by men and women alike. Facebook has announced a new set of themed stickers and frames for Women’s History Month, and we don’t think it’s a coincidence that Nike has released this amazing new ad with Serena Williams, Dream Crazier:
Happy birthday, WhatsApp!
Can you believe that WhatsApp turned ten last week? They shared a blog detailing some of their milestones over the course of the last decade. It’s hard to remember what life was like before WhatsApp isn’t it? And of course they intend to stick around, so will no doubt be making even more updates and changes over the next few years.
Taking a break
We loved this article from Melody Wilding on Medium about ways to cultivate a “vacation mindset.” These are some great tips to help all of us to relax and chill out when two weeks on a beach in Barbados is not an immediate possibility. No matter who you are or what you do, life can be stressful from time to time and people often complain that they need a holiday – these are things we can do to help us to capture that feeling of being on holiday, without the price tag!
