Our First Event
Brand workshop: Why should I invest in design?
The team at Jago have been working behind the scenes on something a bit special, and we’re now excited to announce our first ever event!
Hosting events has been on our collective to-do list for a while now, and when we had our new year goal setting meeting, we all agreed to stop talking and start doing!
This first event will be hosted by three key members of our team, and will focus on helping you to unlock the potential of your brand. In the olden days of business, you could set up a shop on the high street, open your doors and people would come to you. That is simply not enough these days; whether you’re on the high street, online or both you need a brand as well as a business.
In this hour-long session you will learn why having a quality brand is key, from three different perspectives:
Our Senior Designer Charlotte will be talking about the power of user-focused design and what it takes to create a meaningful brand.
Our Digital Marketing Executive Dovile will shed light on how to make your website an effective marketing tool.
Our Social Media Intern Jess will show you why consistency across your brand is key, and how you can achieve this.
The aim with this event is to provide a starter toolkit to help you to build or grow your brand, leaving you with a good understanding of:
- The difference between high quality and poor design
- What good quality design can mean to your brand
- How quality design can change your customers’ perception and build trust
- Why design is more than just making your product look good
This is what we’ve come to specialise in here at Jago; we work with people so that their brand really reflects who they are and what they do. Building a brand, choosing a logo, connecting with your customers – these are about so much more than thinking about which colours you think look ok, or worse – which is your favourite colour!
Whether you are an established business or just starting out, we’re sure you will find value in this event.
Date: 12th March 2019
Time: 6pm
Venue: The Projects, 8-9 Ship Street, Brighton
